A quietness surrounds this beautiful autumn scene with the pedestrian bridge and a peachleaf willow tree towering overhead at Wildflower Park in Northern Illinois

the clouds begin to vibrate with joy

It was interesting watching this female red-bellied woodpecker climb up the oak tree while listening and looking for insects underneath the bark and all this time she and the male were calling out to each other

I began photographing the wildflowers that consisted of blue vervain
